Daily Encourager is a national community platform being built one individual at a time, being introduced into thousands of communities across America. Our desire is to provide a variety of daily encouragements intended solely for individuals.
It then becomes our hope that these same encouraged individuals start looking for daily opportunities to connect with their neighbors and their local community members.
Our challenge for them will be to look for opportunities to serve others locally — especially the widows in their afflictions, and the fatherless within their own communities.
Our encouragement gets personal, because we are already inviting you to consider attending a local church, or perhaps even volunteering at a local nonprofit, or an organization that provides daily assistance to your community members. We are even asking you to participate in local meetups to create and foster new healthy relationships with those in your own community.
We are primarily commanded by God to do two things: The first is to love Him with all your heart, mind, soul and strength. The second command is to love your neighbors, even as you love yourself.
We can make the claim that we love God, because this is often personal and private as well — so while not always true, a person who loves God may not always appear as if he or she does; and quite frankly, who are we to judge in this situation.
The second command from God hits a little closer to home, as it's painfully evident that none of us have mastered the art of loving our neighbors. Most of us don't even know our neighbors by name. This is especially disheartening when we realize that we are required to love them just as much as we love ourselves. We love ourselves more than anybody else on earth — we take good daily care of ourselves. We make sure we are fed well, clothed well, and comfortable at all times. We will naturally do whatever it takes to make ourselves happy and content.
That's right — none of us have come anywhere close to achieving these two aspirations in life. Whether we are Believers or Non-Believers, Catholics, Baptist, Pentecostal, Non-denominational, Agnostics — it simply doesn't matter. We all fall short in just these two areas of life.
Here's the best part: we're capable of being better and doing better, but it requires a daily effort from each of us.
"We Encourage One Another Every Single Day."
